Davis Paradox Rental Home Policies

     Our home sleeps a maximum of 9 people - absolutely no exceptions.

     A $500 deposit is due within three weeks of reserving the cabin.  The full rental amount is due two weeks prior to the time of rental.  If you must cancel your reservation, please let us know as early as possible. You will lose 100% of your deposit if you do not cancel eight weeks prior to your check-in date. 

     We require a $300 security deposit in case of damage not caused by regular wear and tear.  The deposit will be returned following inspection after your stay. If there is more than $300 in damage, you will be billed for the remaining amount.  We appreciate you leaving the house in the same condition in which it was found.

     We do not allow pets, nor do we allow any smoking.  We are highly allergic to both, and if we find that either of these policies have been violated, we will keep 100% of the security deposit.
     We mail renters a key one week prior to their stay. Check in time is 4:00 pm and checkout is 10:00 am. These times are necessary to allow for preparation between renters. 
     Linens and towels are provided. Judicial use of the water systems, especially the whirlpool, are requested as the house is serviced by a well and a septic system.      

     We allow up to $10.00 in long distance calls (including any on-line services used).  Any amount beyond $10.00 is the responsibility of the renter. 
     Canoe rental is available at $75.00 per week. The canoe is a 17-foot Old Town.  Rental includes life-vests.  Please let us know ahead of time if you are interested.
